We are excited to announce that one of our mentors, Dave Mckelson from Prodog Training in West Footscray is joining us to hold his Leash Aggression Workshop.
Dave is the owner and operator of one of Australia’s most successful dog daycare and training facilities.
We are proud to host this unique opportunity with a trainer that is highly regarded within the industry.
Learn highly effective strategies to modify and manage leash aggression. Leash aggression and human/dog aggression as a whole has become a key focus of ours at Pro Dog. Learn how to create a meaningful and multi layered relationship with your dog. Modifying aggression isn’t a leash wrangling exercise; it’s a test of your communication systems, your dog’s understanding of foundation obedience, the development of highly effective reward systems, engagement with the handler and modifying emotional responses through the training processes.
Our system is not a quick fix, it is complex approach and requires a great deal of dedication to ensure you see results. As with any difficult training task there is a strong focus on establishing solid foundation work.
Dog Spots: We have a limit of 5 dog spots (by application only once you have purchased a non-refundable auditor spot). If you are interested in a dog spot please email through your dog’s behavioural history, their current training level and your behavioural goals in an email application to us after you have purchased your ticket.
It is important that we have a range of dogs with varied behavioural responses for the workshop. With this being the case you may not be selected if your dog presents the same behaviour as another dog attending. The purpose of dog spots is to demonstrate our practices and how they work across a range of varied dog types.
Our team will need to sight proof of a current C5 vaccination (or equivalent) prior to attending the seminar. Please also ensure your dogs are up to date with their worming/flea/tick treatments.
