KAYLA

Hi, I’m Kayla!

I started at Unleashed back in 2020 where I began my journey in daycare and later after finishing the National Dog Trainers Federation course started taking part in the training side of things.

You’ll now find me in both Daycare and Training.

My interest in dog’s stemmed from training our family dog Ollie, a black Labrador. I thought I was headed for a pretty easy and straightforward path with dog training but quickly learnt how tricky & challenging it is. I now have a German Shorthaired Pointer of my own by the name of Roy, who is teaching me countless new things about dog behaviour.

Although it can be frustrating at times, the rewards you get from owning and training dogs is endless and makes every bit of it worthwhile!

I am currently undergoing study in Canine Remedial Massage Therapy in the hopes of gaining skills and knowledge to one day provide rehabilitation to our canine pals.

Outside of Unleashed you’ll find me spending time with my own furry friends or out on a trail hiking in the outdoors.

KELLIDIE

Hi, I’m Kellidie,

The saying “do what you love, and you’ll never work a day” perfectly sums up my days at Unleashed. Through dog training I have discovered my love of coaching clients to help educate them about canine behaviour and learning. It is a joy to see clients understand the why behind their dog’s behaviour and apply techniques to build their relationship together.

Outside of helping clients with their dogs, I enjoy long adventures with my two besties, Zelda and Peppy. The happiness the two little dogs bring to my life is indescribable. I wouldn’t be doing what I love without them.

While training my own dogs, I regularly foster shelter dogs to help them transition into home life when suitable adopters come along. The experience I gain working with shelter dogs is invaluable and will often help me to understand challenging dog behaviours clients may be facing.

Hey!
I’m Tahlia and I have been with Unleashed since February 2021.

I am young, enthusiastic, determined and one of the biggest animal lovers you could ever meet and my favourite of all are of course dogs 🥰🐶

I am forever grateful of the amazing opportunity to look after and build trust with all your amazing beloved dogs and to grow my passion for animals.

I have finished my year 12 studies with a VCE certificate and a TAFE certificate in Animal Studies. I have also completed my veterinary nursing qualification and, on my way, to becoming a qualified dog trainer.

I am also aspiring to work alongside some more exotic animals in my future possibly as a wildlife keeper or nurse.

I have a young pup by the name of Bosco. He is a border collie cross kelpie who is to smart and energetic for his own good. He is best known to get up to lots of mischief and loves to play with other pups in the daycare yard.

Apart from animals I love to explore the outdoors and move my body weather that be talking a walk or relaxing in the outdoors or going to the gym.

REBECCA

Hi, I’m Bec and I joined Unleashed in 2022 as a daycare attendant.

I am a dog, (and pet!) lover to the core and joined the team to spend more time with dogs, and to be part of a team who loves to talk about them as much as me!!

You will always find me with either one of my dogs, or some sort of reminder of dogs on my clothes or in my ears!

Our family would be lost without dogs in our life, they bring us happiness, cheekiness, fun and love.

I love being able to bring lots of love and fun to the dogs when I’m at daycare.

KERRI

Hi I’m Kerri, your passionate dog lover whose dream job has finally come true! I bring boundless enthusiasm for dogs to my role, where I’m dedicated to making every canine guest’s stay an absolute joy.

I’m known for breaking the rules with irresistible pats, joyful playing and endless hugs, I will ensures your furry friends have the most fun-filled experience.

My unwavering commitment to all things dog-related, I am here to assist with every need and make sure each pup feels right at home.

SIMONE

Hi, I’m Simone.

I started at Unleashed in July 2024.

I have been working in the dog industry since 2020 in boarding/daycare facilities and have enjoyed every step along the way.

I started my dog training journey through my beloved pooch Ace who was a Covid dog and had dog/child aggression due to no socialisation. I worked hard at rehabbing Ace and realised I had a knack for it and wanted to help others.

Due to my background in horse training and breaking, I adapted well and went forward in making dog training my entire life.

At Unleashed, you will find me in both daycare and training with a bright and bubbly face.
